Simulium (Simulium) vietnamense Takaoka, Sofian-Azirun & Chen, 2014
Simulium (Simulium) vietnamense Takaoka, Sofian-Azirun & Chen (in Takaoka et al., 2014b): 743–746 (Female).
Distribution. Vietnam (Vinh Phuc).
Remarks. This species was described from two females collected while flying around a human in Tam Dao National Parks, Vinh Phuc Province (Takaoka et al. 2014b). The male, pupa and larva of this species are unknown.
