Description

Leuctra collaris Martynov, 1928

Lənkəran region: 2: 6♂ 2♀ (HNHM); 4: 4♂ 2♀ (HNHM); 6: 9♂ 3♀ (HNHM); 8: 1♂ (HNHM); 14: 1♂ (HNHM); 15: 1♀ (LMEE); Gəncə-Qazax region: 43: 3♀ (LMEE); Naxçıvan: 36: 3♂ (HNHM).

Remarks. A common summer and autumnal species in the Greater Caucasus (Georgia, Krasnodar Krai, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia), Lesser Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia), the Pontic region of Anatolia and the Alborz of Iran (Aubert 1964, Zhiltzova 2003, Darilmaz et al. 2016). In Naxçıvan, it emerged already in early summer. In the Talysh Mts, it was common along forest brooks and streams but not in rivers or open brooks. In the Lesser Caucasus, we found it along a single forest brook during our autumnal tour. New for the fauna of Azerbaijan.
