Elachista arundinella Duponchel, 1843: 471, pl. 86, fig. 7. Type locality: [“ Austria ”, now Czech Republic] Bohemia (Duponchel 1843: 471). Deposition of type unknown.
Subgenus: unknown.
Distribution: Europe. Czech Republic, France.
Figs.: Duponchel (1843).
Remarks: The name apparently had not been in use until Leraut (1997: 108) listed it to represent a valid species occurring in France.
