Description
This poster explores the diversity and dynamics of Clostridioides difficile in a farm environment in Portugal.
The recent increase in community acquired Clostridioides difficile infections discloses the shift in this bacterium epidemiology The commensal nature of this enteric pathogen reveals the importance of natural occurring animal and environmental reservoirs in the transmission cycle Our goal was to evaluate a possible transmission network based on a “one health” approach
This is an outcome from the OHEJP FED-AMR project.
