Zoonotic spread of multi-resistant Clostridioidies difficiles
Description
This poster descirbes the preliminary results from the investigation of the zoonotic potential as well as the AMR gene profiles of Clostridioides difficile strains isolated from Danish pigs within the OHEJP FED-AMR project.
Clostridioides difficile is a major human hospital acquired pathogen often linked to previous consumption of antibiotics. As part of the One-Health European Joint Project (FEDAMR*) we intend to investigate the zoonotic potential as well as antimicrobial resistance genes (AMR) profiles of strains isolated from Danish pigs.
