Description

– T. varians varians (Walker, 1855)

= Chazena velata Walker, 1869 (TL: “Limas”)

Type information. TL: [Ceylon] “ Ceylon and Hong Kong ”. Syntype male, depository: BMNH.

Distribution: Mainland China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan), Taiwan and Hainan Islands, southern Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal, India including the Andaman islands, Sri Lanka (Wang et al. 2015)

Remark. Type locality was subsequently specified as Ceylon by Wang et al. (2015).
