Editorial Introduction

The editorial introduction summarizes and reflects on the activities and strategies for this uniquely co-developed conference. It revisits the work done by the authors over several months in Slack, where they met with other researchers to establish a common theme for their own session and to agreee on their 90 minute format for the conference. The results led to a highly interactive and engaged two-day conference that creates connections despite the online distance.
