Planetary-Code-Collection: Thermal, Ice Evolution, and Exosphere Models for Planetary Surfaces

Description

Updated release summary:

  • Included Volterra predictor in Crank-Nicolson subroutine. There will be a paper about this in future.
  • Lower boundary condition for Crank-Nicolson subroutine has moved by half a layer.
  • These two changes propagated into many test cases, which have been updated.
  • New vapor pressure parametrizations for several species. This will be described as part of another future paper.
  • One bug fix in exosphere model for trajectories longer than half the planet (thanks to Alexander Smolka)
  • Cyril Mergny improved the performance of conductionQ.py

In plain language: No changes users would have to worry about it, but the detailed output of nearly everything changes because of fundamental changes to the heat equation solver. Besides that, a few improvements over the last release.
