Description
Matlab function for determining the spacing between lamellar features within 3D X-ray computed tomography data. This has been developed to identify the spacing between lamellar sheets within aerogel, however, can be adapted for wider purposes. Data is input as a distance map, then the function performs non maximal suppression, leaving the local maxima. The local maxima are multiplied by 2 to obtain the spacing between sheets (rather than the distance to nearest sheet). The output is the mean sheet spacing of the volume.
