REF - a call for an interconnected future
Description
- The time has come to consider ORCID, not by itself, but as part of a whole.
- Persistent identifiers are interlinked and this is where real value can be found.
- REF is an example of where the interconnectedness of the PID environment could have been really useful
- Where were the issues?
- How do we develop for the future?
- We need to consolidate and build the infrastructure to support linking across the whole network e.g. as we have with ORCIDs and some repositories.
