Description

ACHELOMA COPE, 1882

Revised generic diagnosis: Large trematopid temnospondyl characterized by the following autapomorphies: toothed, raised crest running anteroposteriorly along the vomer, mesial to the choana; otic notch with a nearly horizontal ventral margin.
