Syn.: Hesperus longicornis Cameron, 1950b: 430 (type locality: Cameroon: Ngauyanga); Herman, 2001a: 2684 (Hesperus, catalog); Hromádka, 2010: 502 (synonym).
Distribution. Angola, Cameroon, Congo, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Zaire, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
