Today the libraries establish principles of their own development taking into account global trends, combining several paradigm models, keeping pace with the transition to digital communication. The new trends are important and beneficial for development of library marketing strategies, add value to general policy of the institution to meet current users and attract potential users. Marketing strategies and communication policies represent necessity relevant to major changes. It goes about the channels through which messages are transmitted and of content that should be adapted for new types of "call to action". The combination of channels and mixture of using methods depends on the strategic objectives, products and services offered by the library.
