Professional expectations of a civil servant as a factor of his adaptation in the team

The article clarifies the essence of the concepts of "professional expectations" and "adaptation in a team". As a result of interviewing civil servants whose work experience does not exceed one year, the following types of individuals and their professional expectations were identified: type 1 professional expectations are formed, they quickly adapt to the conditions of the profession and the team; type 2 adapt to the team successfully, provided that the team is close in age and personality type; type 3 professional expectations are based on the stability of the financial situation, the level of adaptability is high, but slow. In order to accelerate the adaptation process, it was proposed to create a system of rules and measures that should address key issues of personnel management at the stages of personnel selection, recruitment, adaptation, advanced training and career advancement.
