Stylochoplanidae: Faubel 1983: 98.
Nomenclatural remarks. Tyler et al. (2006 –2016) ascribed the authorship and date of Stylochoplanidae to Faubel (1983). However, according to the Principle of Coordination as stipulated in Article 36.1 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature 1999), these should be deemed as Meixner (1907), who established the subfamily Stylochoplaninae before Faubel (1983) upgraded it to the family level.
