Amblyomma moreliae

Description

77. Amblyomma moreliae (Koch, 1867).

An Australasian species whose adults are usually found on Squamata (several families) and rarely on Diprotodontia: Macropodidae, and Perissodactyla: Equidae; immature stages have been collected from Squamata: Agamidae, Elapidae and Scincidae. Amblyomma moreliae is a very rare parasite of humans.
