Aonidia buxtoni Laing, 1933: 676.
PUBLISHED RECORDS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Cohic (1958a), Borschenius & Williams (1963).
DISTRIBUTION IN NEW CALEDONIA. — First found in La Tontouta (Païta County), in June 1925 (Borschenius & Williams 1963). West Coast of Grande Terre.
HOST- PLANTS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — On unknown Cyperaceae and “switch grass” (Panicum virgatum?).
NOTE. — This endemic species is quite rare.
