Description

Contains the GNSS-A data obtained by the Japan Coast Guard at the sites along the Japan Trench before the 2011 Tohoku-oki earthquake.

Initial datasets are stored in the following directories:
-[initcfg]: contains initial site-parameter files for the sailing observations (after 2009)
-[obsdata]: contains initial acoustic observation files

Datasets after array determination are stored in the following directories:
-[single-default]: contains the results of preprocessing (non-rigid-array analysis)
-[cfgfix-default]: contains initial site-parameter files for rigid-array analysis

Datasets for the drifting observation (before 2008) are stored in the following directories:
-[initfix-pole]: contains initial site-parameter files for the drifting observations (before 2008), using the pre-determined array in "cfgfix-default"
-[single-pole-fix]: contains the results for the drifting observations (rigid-array analysis)

These data can be processed with GARPOS. Sample shell scripts are also stored.

Note that the GNSS data were processed with the baseline analysis using the software "IT" provided by O. L. Colombo of of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. We used the F3 solution of GEONET sites (Nakagawa et al., 2009) as the terrestrial reference, which had been provided by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan. The F3 positions are aligned to the ITRF2005.

Notes

The observations were performed by the survey vessels operated by the Japan Coast Guard.
