Description
Optical properties of black carbon aerosols covered with sulfate have been computed by
- a morphologically realistic encapsulated aggregate model with nonspherical coating (using ADDA)
- a partially embedded aggregate model with spherical coating (using MSTM)
- a core-grey-shell dimer (CGS2) model (using MSTM)
The input and output data from the ADDA and MSTM model, python scripts for post-processing the MSTM results, and the post-processing data files are published here. Details of the computations can be found in the README files in the corresponding folders.
The manuscript describing this reseach has been submitted to Optics Express (February 2021).
