Description
Stenopelmatus character summary sheet – Table 2
Summary list (Table 2) of both morphological and behavioral categories in the 14 new taxa described in this paper. We consider 10 new species to be small (<25 mm in body length), while the remaining 4 taxa are medium to large in size (> 25 mm in body length). These numbers reinforce our impression that there are still a number of small, mostly solid black Stenopelmatus, many probably endemic to various mountain areas, that await discovery and description. We also discuss (p. 113) several populations of medium to large individuals that may represent undescribed taxa.
