Holotype male in INBIO.

Type locality: Parque Nacional Barra Honda, Caverna Terciopel, 25 m, 22 km NE Nicoya, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.

Distribution: Costa Rica: Guanacaste Province: known only from type locality.
