Kewenangan Pemerintah Jawa Tengah dalam Pengembangan, Pembinaan, dan Pelindungan Bahasa (dan Sastra) Indonesia

This paper intends to discuss the authority of Central Java Provincial Government in developing, fostering and protecting the language of the country (Indonesia) in Central Java. The goal is to know how the authority is governed and executed. Based on the tracking of various existing legislation and facts, it appears that the Local Government of Central Java has multiple duties, in addition to handling local languages also must handle the Indonesian language. As a result, there is an imbalance in the management so that one of them, the language of the country (Indonesia), does not get the handling as expected.
