Rotation-Dilation Coupled Flexure Oscillator with negative dilation

Mock-up of a RDCO flexure oscillator showing a negative dilation, i.e, contraction, coupled to the rotation of the system. The mock-up was fabricated by laser cutting a 5 mm thick Polyoxymethylene (POM) sheet. It has an outer diameter of 200 mm and an angular stroke of ±18 degrees.
