The measurement of nuclear modification factor Rda of single muons from open heavy-flavor in d+Au collisions at sqrt(sNN)=200 GeV

This dissertation represents the measurement of invariant yield of heavy- flavor muons in p+p and different centrality classes of d+Au collisions at √sNN= 200 GeV. The nuclear modication factor R_dA as a function of p_T and〈N_coll〉was  also determined  in an effort to  quantify nuclear effects in d+Au collisions.
