Una aproximación a las tipologías de cerámica asturiana entre los siglos XVI y XVII

La cerámica estudiada procede de las excavaciones arqueológicas del solar nº10 de la Calle  la Rúa, Oviedo. Su cronología se extiende desde el siglo XVI hasta mediados del XVII. Nos centramos en la cerámica de procedencia local y nos hemos marcado como objetivos la creación de tipologías orientadas a proporcionar tablas de formas y el estudio de los centros alfareros asturianos y sus producciones. Hemos aplicado una metodología exhaustiva con vistas a su extrapolación a otros lotes cerámicos.
En Asturias existe una deficiencia en el estudio de las cerámicas modernas, dado que los estudios sistemáticos en este sentido son casi inexistentes. Con el estudio de este lote podemos observar como hay formas con una clara tradición medieval, en cambio, otras nos anuncian lo que será la cerámica popular asturiana. La artesanía del barro en Asturias es fruto de un profundo apego a las tradiciones y la capacidad para asimilar novedades.

[The following studied potteries come from the archaeological excavations of the site number 10 of La Rúa Street, Oviedo. The chronology extends from the sixteenth to mid-seventeenth century. We focused on the locally sourced pottery and our goals are to create typologies aimed at providing shape tables, the study of Asturian potteries centers and their productions. We have implemented a comprehensive methodology in order to its extrapolation to other potteries lots.
The asturian historiography always had a lack of study of modern potteries due to the absence of systematic studies in this regard. Within the study of this lot we can perceive, on the one hand, a clear medieval tradition, while, on the other hand, what will be the Asturian folk pottery. The craftsmanship of the mud in Asturias is the result of a deep attachment to the traditions and the ability to assimilate changes.]
