Holotype ♂ Label data: Holotype Bathypogon nigrotibiatus Hull // Cairns dist. / F.P. Dodd [Aquisition No.: SAMA Database No 29-001182]
Condition: Poor. Head: intact. Thorax: medium size hole at apex of thorax. Legs: left hind leg missing and right hind leg almost severed from body. Wings: intact.Abdomen: intact. Genitalia: upper forceps, left side, partially destroyed
