Mintonia Wanless, 1984 [part]; Davies & Żabka, 1989: 19, as Mintonia sp.

Type species. Gelotia frenata Thorell, 1890.

Remarks. The genus Gelotia includes 11 species distributed in China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. In Australia, two species are known: G. robusta Wanless, 1984 and “ Mintonia sp.” (Davies & Żabka 1989). The latter requires formal description within the genus. The diagnosis of the genus is given by Wanless (1984).
