Type locality. Africa, Southern Africa, Namibia, Damaraland. No type examined.

SOUTH AFRICA: Free State: Bethlehem (S28.2330, E28.3087) 25.iii.1922 — 2♂ (Transvaal Museum); Herbert (S29.6589, E24.6635) 15.v.1917 — 1♀; Northern Cape: Namaqualand (S30.1660, E17.7987)— 2♀ (Transvaal Museum); Petrusburg (S29.1159, E25.4143) 26.iv.1917 coll. J.C. Faure— 1♂ (Transvaal Museum); Smithfield District (S30.2017, E26.5259) 09.v.1917 — 1♂; Steytlersville (S33.3208, E24.3235) iii.1934 — 1♀ (Transvaal Museum).

Distribution. Previously recorded from Namibia (Naskrecki 1995) and South Africa and S.W Africa (Dirsh 1956b).
