Type not designated.
Original material: Gmelin, Herb. Linn. No. 12.3 (LINN); [icon] in Buxbaum, Pl. Minus Cognit. Cent. 3: 30, t. 56. 1729.
Current name: Agriophyllum squarrosum (L.) Moq. (Chenopodiaceae).
Note: Although Aellen (in Feddes Repert. 69: 144. 1964) says that the type of C. squarrosum is identifiable as Agriophyllum arenarium M. Bieb., he failed to indicate what collection or illustration he considered to be the type.
