Description

Cheiranthus fruticulosus Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 12, 2: 441; Mantissa Plantarum: 94. 1767, nom. illeg.

"Habitat in Hispania. Cl. Alstroemer." RCN: 4813.

Lectotype (Meikle in Curtis’s Bot. Mag. 177: t. 535. 1969): Herb. Linn. No. 839.14 (LINN).

Current name: Erysimum helveticum (Jacq.) DC. (Brassicaceae).

Note: A later homonym of C. fruticulosus L. (1753) and therefore illegitimate.
