Basionym: Morisonia flexuosa L. (1759).
Lectotype (Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 3: 234. 1914): Browne, Herb. Linn. No. 664.10 (LINN).
Current name: Capparis flexuosa (L.) L. (Capparaceae).
