Caltha palustris Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 558. 1753.

Lectotype (Jonsell & Jarvis in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 28. 1993): Herb. Burser XV(2): 82 (UPS).
Generitype of Caltha Linnaeus.
Current name: Caltha palustris L. (Ranunculaceae).
