Description

Athanasia capitata (Linnaeus) Linnaeus, Species Plantarum, ed. 2, 2: 1181. 1763.

"Habitat in Aethiopia." RCN: 6106.

Basionym: Santolina capitata L. (1760).

Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 69. 1983): Herb. Burman (G).

Current name: Athanasia capitata (L.) L. (Asteraceae).
