Description
Aspalathus canescens Linnaeus, Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 262. 1771.
"Habitat ad Cap. b. spei montosis." RCN: 5230.
Lectotype (Dahlgren in Opera Bot. 10(1): 168. 1965): Tulbagh 41, Herb. Linn. No. 893.40 (LINN).
Current name: Aspalathus laricifolia P.J. Bergius subsp. canescens (L.) R. Dahlgren (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
