Description

Acrostichum cruciatum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1072. 1753.

"Habitat in America meridionali." RCN: 7790.

Lectotype (Proctor & Lourteig in Bradea 5: 385. 1990): [icon] "Lonchitis pulverulenta, pinnulis obtuse dentatis" in Plumier, Traité Foug. Amer.: 37, t. 48, f. B. 1705.

Current name: Thelypteris sancta (L.) Ching (Thelypteridaceae).
