Achillea magna Linnaeus, Species Plantarum, ed. 2, 2: 1267. 1763.

"Habitat in Europa australi." RCN: 6505.

Type not designated.

Original material: Herb. Linn. No. 1017.18 (LINN); Herb. Burser VII(1): 67 (UPS).

Current name: Achillea sp. (Asteraceae).

Note: This name appears not to be in use. The identity of some of the original material suggests the name should fall within the A. millefolium L. group, but the name needs critical assessment.
