Description

Lotus rectus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 775. 1753.

"Habitat in G. Narbonensi, Sicilia, Calabria." RCN: 5698.

Lectotype (Jafri in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 86: 113. 1980): Herb. Linn. No. 931.22 (LINN).

Current name: Dorycnium rectum (L.) Ser. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “recta” in the protologue.
