Lotus graecus Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 12, 2: 505; Mantissa Plantarum: 104. 1767.

"Habitat in Oriente: in Graecia, Arabia." RCN: 5697.

Lectotype (Lassen in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 475. 1997): Herb. Linn. No. 931.20 (LINN).

Current name: Dorycnium graecum (L.) Ser. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
