Ligusticum scoticum Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 10, 2: 958. 1759, orth. var.

Lectotype (Reduron & Jarvis in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 61. 1993): Herb. Clifford: 97, Ligusticum 3 (BM-000558302).
Current name: Ligusticum scoticum L. (Apiaceae).
Note: Evidently an orthographic variant of Ligusticum scothicum L. (1753). The species number and Linnaean polynomial are the same.
