Description
Leontodon tuberosus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 799. 1753.
"Habitat in Hetruriae, Galloprovinciae, Narbonae pratis." RCN: 5841.
Lectotype (Alavi in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 107: 353. 1983): Herb. Linn. No. 953.5 (LINN).
Current name: Leontodon tuberosus L. (Asteraceae).
Note: Specific epithet spelled “tuberosum” in the protologue.
