Description
Spartium angulatum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 709. 1753.
"Habitat in Oriente." RCN: 5194.
Neotype (Gibbs in Turland & Jarvis in Taxon 46: 480. 1997): Turkey. Balikesir, Seitinly, in dumetis, 12 Jul 1883, Sintenis 673 [flowering specimen] (E).
Current name: Gonocytisus angulatus (L.) Spach (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
