Description

Seseli elatum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum, ed. 2, 1: 375. 1762, nom. illeg.

"Habitat in Austria, Gallia." RCN: 2084.

Basionym: Seseli longifolium L. (1759).

Neotype (Reduron & Schäfer in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 214. 2006): "Seseli elatum L. Fontfroide 1 IX 1914 bord pierreux des bois" (ex herb. Squivet de Carondelet) (MPU).

Current name: Seseli longifolium L. (Apiaceae).

Note: An illegitimate renaming of S. longifolium L. (1759).
