Neotype (Mabberley & al. in Telopea 9): 423. 2001): Cultivated. National Fruit Collections [Accession 1949011 ex W. Barnes, Bexhill, Oct 1949], Brogdale, Faversham, Kent, 20 May 1999 (fl.), E-J. Lamont 1309 p.p. (NSW; iso- BM, FHO). - Epitype (Mabberley & al. in Telopea 9: 423. 2001): Cultivated. National Fruit Collections [Accession 1949011 ex W. Barnes, Bexhill, Oct 1949], Brogdale, Faversham, Kent, 5 Aug 1999 (lvs), E-J. Lamont 1309 p.p. (NSW; iso- BM, FHO).

Current name: Malus pumila Mill. 'Calville Rouge d’Automne’ (Rosaceae).
