Description

Protea pinifolia (Linnaeus) Linnaeus, Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 187. 1771.

Basionym: Leucadendron pinifolium L. (1767).

Lectotype (Rourke in S. African J. Bot. 53: 479. 1987): [icon] " Pini foliis planta Africana, Cyperi capitulis Herm. " in Burman, Rar. Afric. Pl.: 193, t. 70, f. 3. 1739.

Current name: Aulax cancellata (L.) Druce (Proteaceae).
