Description

Potamogeton pusillus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 127. 1753.

"Habitat in Europae paludibus." RCN: 1045.

Lectotype (Dandy & Taylor in J. Bot. 76: 92. 1938): Herb. Linn. No. 175.15, left specimen (LINN).

Current name: Potamogeton pusillus L. (Potamogetonaceae).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “pusillum” in the protologue.
