Description

Erigeron camphoratus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 864. 1753.

"Habitat in Virginia." RCN: 6256.

Lectotype (Fernald in Rhodora 41: 461, pl. 569. 1939): Clayton 165 (BM-000038849).

Current name: Pluchea camphorata (L.) DC. (Asteraceae).

Note: Specific epithet spelled “camphoratum” in the protologue.
