Lectotype (Kostermans in Reinwardtia 4: 536. 1959): Herb. Linn. No. 938.1 (LINN).
Generitype of Glabraria Linnaeus, nom. rej.
Current name: Brownlowia tersa (L.) Kosterm. (Tiliaceae).
Note: Glabraria Linnaeus, nom. rej. in favour of Brownlowia Roxb.
