Rumex dentatus Linnaeus, Mantissa Plantarum Altera: 226. 1771.

Lectotype (Graham in Turrill & Milne-Redhead, Fl. Trop. E. Africa, Polygonaceae: 9. 1958): Herb. Linn. No. 464.12 (LINN).

Current name: Rumex dentatus L. (Polygonaceae).
