Lectotype (Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 4: 138. 1920): Browne, Herb. Linn. No. 1228.27 (LINN).

Current name: Acacia tortuosa (L.) Willd. (Fabaceae: Mimosoideae).
