Menispermum canadense Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 340. 1753.

Lectotype (Reveal in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 66. 1993): Herb. Clifford: 140, Menispermum 1 (BM-000558591).
Generitype of Menispermum Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 148. 1929).
Current name: Menispermum canadense L. (Menispermaceae).
